PIM: Imari. what can I say. And with you gracing the blog in the middle of the week, gives us the pep to pull through and wait for the weekend.How do you handle the glamour of being a model.Someone as gorgeous as you must be swamped at every corner lol?
imari: well firstly i am not a model, i am trying to get into the modeling industry but have trouble getting into agencies because of my height. i do get some weird approaches from guys and usually when alcohol is involved men seem to have too much courage, but i usually get put off when people are upfront with me and confronts me and their intentions aren't honourable.. i just walk away.

PIM: Models have to maintain that figure.Yours is awesome. How do you maintain it. If you could make any food or desert the caloric value of lettuce,What would that be?A chocolate desert maybe?Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
imari: like most woman i am not always happy with my body..its really hard living in a society where size zero is becoming more appealling. most days i just watch what i eat very closely as 80% of a person's weight is governed by diet. i do try to gym every week and when i exercise i vary what i do in order to enjoy going to gym. i like group training. if any food can be without calories i'd definately want it to be pizza. when it comes to girls the sexiest part of a girl is any part accentuated in a way that leaves something for the imagination. when it comes to guys the first thing i notice is the eyes, it is like seeing a part of yourself in a man when you look into his eyes and feel at home, it is one quality that will always stay sexy. the eyes shows if someone is genuine and can tell you alot about the feellings a person has inside.

PIM: I love those pics. They different & sexy. Whats your favourite place in the world to get a shoot done?
imari: thank you, i personally havent had the ideal shoot that i am looking for. i am an artist and i want a photographer that can play with composition, colour, texture and direct me in order to set a mood for the shoot. the perfect place for a photo shoot for me would be something less cliche..i would love to shoot in an abandoned mansion or ruins like in the movie great expectations.

swoosh: Are you a Sportsfan. Any Sportsman you would like to spend a weekend in a cozy log cabin with snow capped mountains? Care to tell us why?How was the bok victory.?Where did you watch it and how was the atmosphere?
imari: any sports man i will have to say faf du plessis - he is sooo hot to be trapped in a cabin with in the alps but sadly he has got a great girlfriend.
The bok victory was spectacular and i am not even a big rugby fan. i was making mojitos for everyone and cheered so much. i watched the game with my parents and their friends because i just love how naughty they all are and i am not at home alot so i miss them.

PIM: If you were a footballers wive or WAG and he earned millions.Would you be the decision maker for which club he plays and stays OR would you support him and enjoy the booty,Fast cars,Shopping etc. In other words like Posh Spice.She makes decisions for Beckham if you know what I mean Lol
imari: funny enough i am dating a sportsman and i believe that no one knows whats best for a person but themselves, so i'll always support and encourage my man but i don't want his career to become my only priority and pride. i want to be independant and successful with a life of my own. i like being on the sidelines and be in a relationship where i can look up to my man because he is determined, ambitious and i dont have a shot at overshadowing him.


P.I.M:Tell us about one talent that you have that we never able to guess?
imari: my hidden talent is that i am musical..i have very good hearing and i can play the piano.

P.I.M: Fast Cars & Bikes? Which ones?Whats the most dangerous or daring thing that you have ever done?
imari: the most dangerous thing i have done...lets just say it has something to do with the cascade's swimming pool at sun city very late at night.more naughty.


P.I.M: Favourite place to shop? love to shop at front cover in menlyn, guess and woolworths
Favourite restaurant,coffee shop? my favourite restaurant is red tomato bistro in garsfontein pretoria because its small, intimate and the food is great
Have you ever eaten Indian Food? i have eated indian i love curry and very hot - vindaloo.
Favourite Perfume on a guy and for yourself? my favourite perfume is maxmara and coco madimoiselle, for guys i like D&G light blue, hypnose by lancome, issey miyake leau d'issey pour homme, dior homme, kitos and 211 by carolina herera. My list goes on forever, the fragrance needs to suit the person
Favourite clubbing and Hangout? my favourite hangout place is news cafe menlyn as the people there are great!!
Favourite Lingerie Color?when i shop for lingerie the best place is la senza and black.


P.I.M: What would you never leave home without at any given time?
imari: i would never leave home without lipgloss.

P.I.M: Imari for our readers Are you single. I know we got the answer,But wel ask it.Whilst we on the topic.How important is a guys dress sense to you.? So we can spruce up and impress someone like you lol?
imari: i have been in a serious relationship for almost 2 years now and i love it. my boyfriend has a stunning dress sense and it is very important because you dont want to feel embarrassed by the man you are out with, invest in good basics, a great pair of jeans, brown leather belt,brown leather smart slops, a quality collar shirt, and good black or white t-shirt.


P.I.M: Lastly Imari. if you had three wishes. What would they be.Would you care to share them with us?
imari: wow wishing is a dangerous thing but if i had to wish things for my life i would wish a happy marriage, quality holidays, and longlasting youth.

P.I.M: Adele, what can i say. Poetry in Motion gets better & better everyday. And with you gracing the blog this week its even better. How do you handle the glamour of being a model.Someone as gorgeous as you must be swamped at every corner lol?
adele: First of all I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity. Modelling is not always so glamorous. Sometimes we have to sit around for ages or have our hair teased to such an extent where it is impossible to brush it out! Nevertheless, I enjoy every aspect of it! Glamour is what you make of it. I like to perceive myself to be a normal "girl next door" who is fortunate enough to be able to experience the modelling phenomenon.

Models have to maintain that figure.Yours is awesome. How do you maintain it. If you could make any food or desert the caloric value of lettuce,What would that be?A chocolate desert maybe?Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
Thank you - again. I did ballet for fourteen years. I also used to do rhythmic gymnastics, Jazz, Contemporary, Folk dancing and a little Sports Aerobics. Now I only have two dance classes a week of two hours each.I am not much of a desert person, but I love food (prawns, rump, calamari, sushi, veggies etc). I also like binging on chips and chocolates. I usually have something when I feel like it. And I can eat a lot.Favourite body part? Maybe my waist, not that I have a six pack! On a male body, probably the external oblique muscles. A well defined back is also a bonus!

I love the pics in Mauritius. Is Mauritius as its made out to be? Whats your favourite place in the world to get a shoot done?
 I think Mauritius is very commercialized. Although the beaches are grand, the hotels are situated almost on top of each other. It is also quite filthy in town. The entertainment was unbelievable, the people friendly, sunsets beautiful and buffet breakfasts/dinners to die for.My ultimate shoot would probably be on the Bora-Bora Island.

Are you a Sportsfan. Any Sportsman you would like to spend a weekend on a private yaght in the tropics with? Care to tell us why?
I must be quite honest... I am not too much of a sports fanatic. However, I love watching Rhythmic Gymnastics and Figure Skating. The only man I will spend a weekend on a private yacht with, is my husband.

I would definitely give my opinion, but since I won't be the one with the talent, I will leave the final decision up to him and fully support him. I will most definitely enjoy the fast cars.... Nothing too pricey.. maybe a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder or a Murcielago...ooh or a Aston Martin D89!!6. Describe the sexiest outfit you own and tell us when you whip it out?Hmmm....My birthday suit? I have no idea!

Tell us about one talent that you have that we never able to guess?
I am a master in taking out ingrown hairs... hahaha! I am also super supple and I used to be able to blow fire.

Fast Cars & Bikes? Which ones?Whats the most dangerous or daring thing that you have ever done?
I think I have already answered that question. Cars without a doubt!Most dangerous was probably driving at 215km/h. I know its not that fast, but put me behind proper power and I might just do something stupid. I also did abseiling which was one of the worst experiences of my life!

Favourite place to shop? Europa Art (shoes)Favourite restaurant,coffee shop? Pachas in Pretoria
Have you ever eaten Indian Food? Yes. One of my very good friends is Indian and we've been to family lunches and weddings etc. with her. Lets just say there is never a shortage of food! LOL!
Favourite Perfume on a guy and for yourself? On a guy Aquadigio by Armani. I like Noa by Cacharel, Red Delicious by DKNY, Romance by Ralph Lauren and the list goes on...Favourite clubbing and Hangout? I am not too much of a party animal. i do like FTV Sandton and Taboo though.Favourite Lingerie? Lace for the look and silk for comfort. Color? Mainly black.

What would you never leave home without at any given time?
My lip balm.

I am married to a fantastic guy. A guy that is dressed fashionable, immediately makes an impression, but he has to be comfortable in what he is wearing. Shoes should always be clean. A personality can make anyone overlook something as superficial as clothing...

Lastly Adele if you had three wishes. What would they be.Would you care to share them with us?
There are so many things I wish for... Safety, love, health, happiness, wealth... Lets see...1. A fancy sports car preferably a Lambo (insurance covered hahaha)2. Always have enough to be able to share 3. Never be a victim of Rape

jenny: I think it all began when I was born, ever since I could remember I wanted to be a model. At the age of 4 I did my first ramp walk.Ever since then I’ve been hooked.

P.I.M:I love the rest of the pics?How do you keep in shape and maintain such a hot body and awesome figure.Any dietry or exercise advise for our readers?

jenny: I stay away from Junk food, that’s a big no no. I’m not one for exercising but I often walk around the block or go dancing till the sun comes up.My health tip: Drink loads of water!!

P.I.M: I have got to stop drinking Coke,eating Malva ouddings lol. Jenny, im sure you have done shoots at different places. . Let me put it to you this way. If you had to choose any place for a shoot.Where will it be?

jenny: The Disco themed shoot I did at Club Mynt I’ll always remember… all the pics had a nice party feeling to them.But if I can choose any place to shoot it would be in a forest with wild animals.

P.I.M: Wild Animals,You gotta check out last weeks Video Of The Week. Unbelievable. So how did the FHM mobile shoot go. Swoosh0018 & P.I.M punted for you. Hows the feeling appearing in magazines such as Zoo etc. Any High moments you want to mention to our readers since you became a model?

jenny: The 2 Shoots I did For FHM Mobile went great, I absolutely adored it. I feel honored that I was FHM mobile’s babe of the month in August. It was quite a big mile stone in my modeling career. I’ve also been featured in the Zoo magazine numerous times and all that I can say is; I’m honored that I could be featured in such a great magazine. jenny: Fast bikes… my favorite bike will always be a Yamaha R1 but I also love a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

sabrina: I actually was at a club in Toronto and I was asked to be a sunshine girl which is a full page pic in the biggest paper here in toronto which is the Toronto Sun.. and the rest is history! lol

P.I.M: Those pics are stunning?And my favourite is the one in blue bikini on the beach?How do you keep in shape and maintain such a hot body.Any dietry or exercise advise for our readers? sabrina: I definitely work out alot.. and i really watch what i eat but i have such a sweet tooth so i do cheat alot.. i think that if you are active and try to exercise a few times a week you can definitely maintain a good weight.. moderation is the key when it comes to food...

P.I.M: Sabrina, im sure you have done shoots at different places. What place stands out for you the most. Let me put it to you this way. If you had to choose any place for a shoot.Where will it be?

sabrina: if I could pick any place i would definitely pick Hawaii!! I have always wanted to visit there and it would be amazing to shoot on the beaches there!

P.I.M: Can you tell us about some of the highlights in ur modeling career and some of the funny moments. I watch AMERICAS TOP MODEL on the box here and it looks .....?
sabrina: Challenging yes it can be challenging at times... and you definitely cant be shy as i started out that way and quickly found out that there will always be people around watching and i remember shooting for a calendar and it was freezing cold and we had to change outside into different bikinis and let me tell you that was definitely a challenge!! not too mention onlookers trying to get a glance at a naked girl..lol...

P.I.M: Have you ever been to South Africa ? Or heard about it?Please tell our readers?
sabrina: I have never been yet.. i hope to visit there very soon.. people seem to be very friendly and outgoing and i will definitely be looking forward to it!

P.I.M:Sabrina If you dont mind tell our readers more about Canada Hun?Hows the people ,the tourist destinations, The Nite Life etc.?
sabrina: I love Canada!! The people are amazing and there are so many different cultures here in Toronto.. The Night Life is fantastic and there are so many clubs in Toronto and so much to do!!

P.I.M: If you could kidnap any male sportsman for a weekend away. Where would you take him?And Why?
sabrina: Well probably every woman would say this but definitely David Beckham... do you really have to ask why?? lol

P.I.M: Are you a fast Bikes and Fast Cars type of a girl or just a plain Jane?If you are whats ur fav car & bike?
sabrina: I love fast cars ... i love to drive fast..lol... my favorite car by far would be a ferrari!!

P.I.M: Whats you favourite place to shop and the piece of clothing you never leave home without?Im sure Canada is much different to SA when it comes to shopping Lol? My favourite place to shop is the Eaton Centre right in the heart of Toronto.. i would love to see what SA has to offer though ...

chenaye: The whole modeling thing started when i was 16.. I was approched by a cape town agency and ever since then it's been great LOL

chenaye: Thanks...:) I absolutely love going to gym but hardly have time now days so I try drink laods of water and eat stacks of fruit!

chenaye: Well the most awesome shoot I've ever done would be for police shades...very sexy... Place I'd love to shoot at would definitely be some tropical island with a gorgeous sunset...think sports illustated...BRING IT ON LOL

chenaye: Ummmmmm.............

P.I.M: Would you swop PE FOR JHB?How is the night life in P.E?
chenaye: PE night life has nothing on Joburg although the beach vibe rocks throughout the year.... I would definitely move to Joburg to further my carrer but my heart will always be in PE:)

P.I.M: Mandie.It is indeed Sublime to have you grace POETRY IN MOTION, And a warm Thanks. How did you get into modelling Mandie?When did it all begin for you?
mandie: I actually entered the world of modelling through Carmen Pretorius. I met her at a braai through a very dear mutual friend and I’ve never looked back since. I love the art of photography and believe that there is beauty in everyone. It helped boost my self confidence through an unhappy marriage and then the divorce. I also learned that I an a unique beauty with a lot of good factors and hopefully someday I will be “discovered”. Fame and fortune is not my virtue, but to be noticed is

P.I.M: Mandie, care to give us an insight or some background?
mandie: I’m a normal “boere meisie” who loves to cook and stick to my religious views and morals. I’m also a shy and introverted individual who tends to be very mysterious, but be careful when the fiery redhead wakes up! I believe laughter is the best medicine and I love to laugh. I’m always positive and smiling no matter how much life/circumstances get me down. I’m fun to be around and love to help people more disadvantaged than myself.

swoosh:I love the pics. P.I.M has had raving reviews.And its an honour to have you as our Babe Of the Week. Is there a great deal of preparation that is needed both physically and mentally. Im sure there is?. How do you prepare for a shoot?Do you get nervous?
mandie: It is an honour to be featured as babe of the week, thank you. The evening before the shoot I make sure I have everything packed and ready. I have a relaxing bath and go through all the everyday beauty treatments so that I don’t rush the day of the shoot and I ensure that I get a good nights’ rest.
When I have a shoot with a photographer I know, nervousness is not a problem for me, because I know how he/she operates and know what to expect. I do get nervous at times, but after the first few shots are taken, I’m relaxed and ready to rock! When I’m in front of the camera I am in another universe – blocking out all the thoughts of everything that going on in my life

P.I.M: Mandie.I love those pics. Especially the Arabian one..How do you stay in shape,I know Im strugling Lol?
mandie: That one is my favourite one too. It attracts some mystery and the photo is called “windows to the soul” I believe my eyes and my hair are two of my strongest features.I ensure that I eat breakfast within the first two hours of waking up. Breakfast includes high fibres and fruit with black herbal tea. I try and keep away from anything starchy after 19:00 pm and limit the intakes of caffiene. I also jump rope and play action netball to keep me in shape, and I must be honest, the gym have not seen me in a while, but I manage to keep my health and fitness in tact.

P.I.M: Do you think the Boks will pull it off at the World Cup?What do you think of the squad that is chosen?

mandie: Well, there are so many to choose from...why do you have to put me in such a predicament? Lol A monkey puzzle would make it a bit easier...As long as the person does not have a too high self love and can get along with a girl like me....oh and not shy to show me a good time

P.I.M: Mandie, Are you into Fast Cars,Superbikes or just a regular girl?
mandie: I love the sound and shapes of fast cars and bikes, but ever since I lost two dear friends in accidents, I’ve feared to tread on that path

P.I.M: Your dream car and Bike?
mandie: You will probably laugh at my answers, but everyone is different and I would not mind owning a pink Corvette convertable and a Ducati

P.I.M:I know models love Shopping and trendy Hangouts. Are you any different. Where do you love to:
a) Shop?I am surely much different from other girls, because I only shop when I really have to
b)favourite resturant? Mmm – nothing is better than a home cooked meal for me, unless a guy decides to cook for me and set up a romantic table on the beach on a windless hot summers’ eve
Have you ever eaten Indian Food?If so Where and how was it?
Have you ever heard of the Indian fast food Ackhalwaya's.It is said that one bite and you hooked)I heard of Ackhalwaya’s – you told me about that the other night! Yes I have eaten Indian food and I absolutely loved it as I like hot and spicey food, but let’s face it, it is an art to cook
c)place/hangout spot where you spend most of your time?I spend most of my time at work, in my car and at home
e)Place you love to party at? I am comfortable anywhere, as long as your friends/family are there and as long as it is fun!

P.I.M: What do you feel the most comfortable in when you having a great time,I mean socially of course?Ok en err ........non socially.Favourite color and brand of Lingerie?
mandie: LOL I think every girl loves lingerie! I’m not a label girl and don’t judge people on the labels they wear and expect that people won’t judge me on that as well. I normally wear what I’m confortable in and not to impress anyone
