PIM:Rouxmia...Great to have you on Pim. You are one of PIMS top 100 in the FHM Models 2009. Wow? How did that campaign begin for you. Were you ecstatic when you got the news? how do you fancy your chances.?
rouxmia:Ah thanx! I just wanted to do something different so I entered the competition and gave it a shot…One of my close friends, Bianca Trytsman won 2 years ago and she had so much fun doing it! Its hard to get votes though, because I am studying and don’t have too much time to have a bikini carwash and parties for myself, but I try my best and Stellenbosch Campus I behind me! And I am getting lots of approaches for interviews like from you guys for instance! Thanks for the opportunity…
PIM:So you from Stellenbosh, A Gorgeous model. PIM gets better by the day? Your ambitions and goals as a model? How is the Cape.Have you modlled in JHB and if you have will you ever move here?
rouxmia:Blush :) Thanx again! I love Cape Town, it is my home and I have spent all my life here… I have modelled in JHB lots of times! I did Joburg Fashion week last year and a couple of shoots. Actually I am thinking about moving up there next year! So will see you all there! I want to pursue my TV presenting career.
PIM: Whats a typical day in the life of Rouxmia?
rouxmia:Getting up in the morning, have my bowl of muesli, get in my car, drive to Cape town from Stellenbosch, do castings and shoots all day, go for coffee with a girlfriend, get home at 5pm, go to the gym, then cook dinner with my man and facebook while pretending to study :p I am really chilled, not to into the partying thing…nothing as good as a dvd and a cozy couch! hahaha
PIM:Back to the FHM models. So is it tough. What have you been doing in terms of getting them votes. Give us a brief itenary on what you have to do to compete in this comp 100%. Are u doing alot of shoots etc. ?
rouxmia:I shoot every second day in season, which is great, but have never shot for FHM before, since I am only looking into being a bombshell now :) …. I am not going to give you any voting tips, as it’s a secret…but one of my ways is my facebook group… http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=33143347412 , but I have other ways too :) Like I say, I don’t do the whole partying thing and I am not going over the top… If I am meant to be there, then I will…I am not going to force you to vote for me, but I would love to win! I’m an entertainer and I have been in the indusrty for 7 years…I know what to do and I know exactly how to make love to a camera…you wont be sorry…I will ask Hagen if I can throw in a Frenchmaid and nurse outfit into a shoot if I do win :) Something that is diffrent, but hot!
PIM: So suppose you win FHM MODELS Rouxmia , you are probably on a stringint fitness regime. What are you doing to maintain that hot bod?
rouxmia:45 minutes cardio, 45 minutes weight training and of course a healthy eating plan, that contains cheating on Sundays! hahaha
PIM:If you had to have KIDNAP any sportsman,who wud that be ha ha?
rouxmia:David Beckham!
PIM: Your dream shoot…Pick a location, a theme ?
rouxmia:I would love to do a perfume campaign! It would be fantastic! I don’t care about the location! As long as it is featured world wide! Imagine! Ah! You got me day dreaming again!
PIM: Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
rouxmia: I have a reall cute bum and all my friends envy it, cos I don’t really need to tone it as it is naturally toight like a toiger’s hahaha…On a boy I love a six pack…there is nothing sexier!
PIM: What was the most bizarre and funny come on line that a guy has used on You?
rouxmia: Hahaha…This guy is like “Do you have raisins?” and I said “No, I don’t like them” and he asked “Well, how about a date?” And then a really crude one that I luckily havnt encountered! But I find it amuzing “Hi! I am Fred Flinstone and I will make your bed rock” hahaha
PIM: 2010..in SA...UR THOUGHTS..How do you think we will handle it, ?Are you optimistic about SA and the future in retrospect to the economy, change of presidency etc?
rouxmia: Well, maybe the soccer kick off will make a difference… The 2010 can be a wake up call for us! The fact that there is a new party that is challenging the ANC, is pointing to a positive future, since it is healthy for democracy to not have a party that is bascially a monopoly.
PIM:Tell us about one talent that you have that we never able to guess?
rouxmia:I am a really good singerWhats ur favourite fashion brand: I love YDE but if I can get sponsored by a brand, it would def be Ed Hardy…He is awesome and I am a big fan :)
PIM:If you had a million rand, What would be your first purchase?
rouxmia:I would book my dad and myself a safari trip, it is his biggest dream. Then take my mother overseas, since she has never been…probably Greece!

PIM: Would you say a woman can learn how to be a model, or modeling is something in the genes? you have it or you don't have it at all? Why do you think so?
rouxmia:Definatley in the genes…you cant learn to be a model, you either have it or you dont. Don’t ever give up though…It is a cut throat industry…you have to take a cup of cement and harden the hell up if you want to make it! Hahaha…
PIM: If you could be anyone famous in the World today, Who would you want to be and Why?
rouxmia: I would love to be a singer of a famous accoustic rock band, I think it must be an absolute thrill to preform to a crowd that big! If I had to choose a specific artist, I would choose Rain Maida from Our Lady Peace…I know he is a guy, but if I could just be the female form to perform his songs, I would be so amped! That is my fav band
PIM:Are you single? Whilst we on the topic. How important is a guys dress sense to you.? So PIM can spruce up and impress someone like you Whats your ideal man. The rugged Camel Man look, or the sophisticated Gentleman. Or someone different perhaps?lol?
rouxmia: No I am not single. My ideal man in a smart, treats me with respect, and has to make me laugh…I have found him and he is the sexiest man alive to me! But too be completely honest, I have never had the same type of man more than once, then you would never learn…I am currently dating an engineer who has fantastic taste in fashion too! It doesn’t play a big role, it is just a bonus if a guy knows how to dress. For instance, if I dated a surfer, I would love for him to be comfy in his own skin by wearing boardies and flip flops…If I dated an artist, I would love that whole top hat and waist coat vibe…Just don’t wear anything with oil stains and holes in it. I love it when guys wear white jaw string pants, it’s a definate summer sexy look and my fav color on a guy at the moment is sky blue or light turqoise, since it shows off a nice tan! As I said earlier, I aslo love the whole artist look of top hats, a white tshirt and a waist coat, I am not too much of a fan of guys with skinny jeans though! Guess has the nicest jeans for boys!Ok stop trying to be a fashion guru, Rouxmia…next question!
If PIM had to take Rouxmia on a date. What would we have to do to blow your socks off lol?
rouxmia: Be a bit hard to get, mysterious and mature. I love eating so take me to a nice restaurant…Too boring?Lets go ski diving or jet skiing! I am an adrenaline junkie…lol.
