PIM: Hi Chantelle Before we get into the modelling bit. Tell us more bout yourself. , So you from Jozie.How did you get attracted to the glamour of modelling and the industry?
chantelle: I wanted to enter FHM Models and went for a shoot with a photographer, I never entered, but added those pics to Facebook, where a model scout scouted me for a competition, after that I did a wedding shoot and the rest is history…
PIM:Wow.PIM is honoured to have you? Your ambitions and goals as a model?
chantelle: I really want to make a success of my modeling, try to further my career in modeling, o yeah, I want to be a fashion photographer
PIM:Whats a typical day in the life of Chantelle Smith?
chantelle: Wake up, Eat, go to work, come home, eat, gym and spend time with my boyfriend or friends…
PIM:How do you stay in shape Chantelle?Any tips for our readers?PIM adores that body
chantelle:I don’t actually, im trying to get into shape though, guess its in the genes… lol
PIM: If you had to make any food or desert or junk food the caloric value of lettuce. Which would it be?
chantelle:Definitely the box master at KFC, yum-yum
PIM: So what do you do for a living Chantelle?How do you pay the bills
chantelle:Im a receptionist at a flavoring company, and do part time promotions for FTV
PIM:If you had to have KIDNAP any sportsman/ celeb,who wud that be ha ha?
chantelle:Ooo that is a difficult one, it would be either Ryk Neetling or Schalk Brits
PIM: Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
chantelle: My body would be my eyes and a guys definitely there arms
PIM: What was the most bizarre and funny come on line that a guy has used on You?
chantelle:Threw ice at me, and said: Now that ive broken the ice
PIM: 2010..in SA...UR THOUGHTS..How do you think we will handle it, ? PIM: Tell us about one talent that you have that we never able to guess?
chantelle: I think it is going to be great, more job opportunities and will be great for the tourism industry, a chance for SA to show our talents. If we will be able to handle it is a question on its own
Whats ur favourite fashion brand: lol I don’t have one… **Blush** I like to shop for bargains…:)
If you had a million rand, What would be your first purchase?Golf GTI
Favourite food:KFC and Sushi
Favourite Hot drink:Coffee lots and lots
Favourite Cold drink: Coke,Im not very healthy… hee hee
Favorite perfume on a guy. Lacoste
Favourite Perfume on you: Hoity Toity
Favorite clubbing and Hangout?Definitely FTV!!!
Favourite restaurant and coffee shop....?. Ocean basket and Mugg and Bean, there coffee is awesome
One wish you would like to come through: Stop animal cruelty
PIM: Would you say a woman can learn how to be a model, or modeling is something in the genes? you have it or you don't have it at all? Why do you think so?Is the modelling industry that cut throat as people make it out to?
chantelle: You can learn out of experience, I think all women are natural models you just have to dig deep… The modeling industry is cut throat, you’ve got lots of competition, so you have to be on top of your game the whole time… You’ve got height requirement, weight requirements, you have to have the right attitude to make it, you have to take the crit and see how you can improve… No use taking it to your head and going into depression or giving up about, not all crit is bad crit
PIM: If you could be anyone famous in the World today, Who would you want to be and Why?
chantelle:Does infamous count?? If yes: Robert Mugabe – I would resign as President
PIM:Lol,thats a good one :)!Are you single? Whilst we on the topic. How important is a guys dress sense to you.? So PIM can spruce up and impress someone like youWhats your ideal man.
chantelle:No Im not, ive got a wonderful boyfriend… But if I was single, the way a guy dresses says a lot about him, for example if hes shoes are dirty, hes lazy.Well that’s what I think.You have to smell good, Ive got a weakness for Rugby players… So if you’re a rugby player your already half way there… lol… My ideal man would be some one who supports me, respects me and is caring and charming. I don’t ask for a lot… lol
PIM: If PIM had to take Chantelle on a date. What would we have to do to blow your socks off lol?
chantelle:Mmmm, Im not easily impressed a picnic at a very beautiful place with candles and flowers… Im a hopeless romantic… lol
PIM: Can you mention some of your accolades and achievemnts in modelling thus far?
chantelle:Working with Nolin Lister, he is one of the best photographers thus far, and being a FTV ambassador
