MEGAN HORAK

Full Name: Megan Horak
From: Pretoria
Favourite Sportsman: Derick Kuun (a friend of mine)
Favourite Sportsteam: Bulls & Springboks
Favourite Hangout: cubana, rhapsody's or news cafe

megan: It all started last year March. I lost a dare to friend. That friend happened to be a photographer. So I had to do a shoot with him as punishment for loosing the dare. He posted my photos on his website. And the rest as they say is history…

P.I.M: Would you care to tell our readers of some of the most memorable experiences that you have encountered thus far, namely the best atmosphere, the best places, famous people you have encountered along the way?
megan: I’ve had the privilege to work with a few very interesting people in the industry. I love doing location shoots, my most memorable shoots were all done near the ocean. I’ve met a couple of celebs and famous people, but to me they are just people like you and me at the end of the day.

P.I.M: Is being a model what its made out to be?
megan: Like any profession it has its pros and cons. It isn’t boring that’s for sure and you get to meet a lot of interesting people. The traveling is also a big plus. It can be long hours though. You have to just enjoy it while it lasts. It’s not something you can do for the rest of your life.

P.I.M:Anyways you are P.I.M'S babe of the week.Have you done some modeling and how do you maintain that sexy Body?
megan: I’ve been really lucky so far. I don’t have to do a lot to stay in shape. I’m very active though, I always go horse riding or hiking when I get a chance. I think I inherited my mom’s genes. I have a gym membership, but haven’t had chance to go in the past few months. Bad I know, but I will be starting a vigorous program end of April though.

P.I.M: Are you big on the health thing?
megan: Not as much as I’d like to be. With my lifestyle there isn’t time to count calories and plan meals in advance. I just drink a lot of water and I try not to eat any big meals after 7pm.

P.I.M: If you could make any food or desert the caloric value of lettuce, What would that be? A chocolate desert maybe?
megan: Oooooooooh… yes please… Don Pedros and white chocolate milkshakes from Java CafĂ©.

P.I.M: Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
megan: You tell me… lol…On a guy… his hands and arms…

megan: Tahiti

P.I.M: .Are you a Sportsfan?

megan: Well… if I had to choose I would say Derick Kuun from the Blue Bulls. He is a friend of mine so it should be a good laugh. Honestly, I’ve dated sportsmen before and they are just normal people like you and me, I’d rather just go to the tropics with a guy that loves and respects me as much as I do him.

P.I.M: Whats your favourite Sports Team?
megan: The Blue Bulls or Springboks.
P.I.M: Do you know much bout soccer and Man Utd and Liverpool?
megan: Yes, I do. I lived in the UK for a few years so I used to watch football all the time. I’m a “Gunner”(Arsenal).

megan: I paint and write poems.

P.I.M: Fast Cars & Bikes,F1,WILDLIFE,? Which ones?
megan: All of the above.

P.I.M: What are your passions?
megan: I have so many things I am passionate about, but I would say GOD, people and travelling are my top 3
P.I.M: Whats the most dangerous or daring thing that you have ever done?
megan: Going for a spin on a friend’s new Honda CBR 1000 without a helmet(just a hoodie top) going over 200km/h. What a rush! Thinking about it now it was so stupid. –Kids don’t try this at home- Lol.

LEANDA DECKER

This young talent found her way to the 12 inch while living in London. Exposed to the vibrant dance scene and involvement with some of the best DJ’s & Producers in the industry, her yearn to this culture has grown into a massive addiction for Music. Leanda AKA “Baby Ledee” has been progressing in the South African dance scene at a rapid rate. This babe of the beats has trained under legendary industry insiders, Ricardo da Costa and Roger Deluxe, giving this lady the edge that sets her up there with the best. Having already played alongside some of South Africa’s best DJ`s namely Dizzy (Legendary DJ & Producer), Paul Bingham, Mark Stent, Kirsy and all the delectable deckalicious ladies. This vinyl slinger has flawlessly rocked clubs by the likes of ESP, Mood, Tempo’s, Evolution, Corona, Aruba, Natural groove, Groove bar etc. she has also found herself behind the decks at the legendary H2O. She is destined for success! Her unique style and ability to motivate and captivate the crowds is what sets her apart from the rest. Many have called her the Queen of House, her technical ability and smooth mixes has been recognized by her fans and piers alike. Driven by pure effort and tenacity she is an ultimate player for any event as well skilled DJ’s like this are hard to come by! Baby Ledee’s preferred choice of Electro Funk allows for her unique style and crisp mixing ability to take form like no other. With her elegant and hypnotic music selection this mixing madam is bound to leave her mark on the dance scene. Baby Ledee`s Quote: ‘The secret to life is to start from scratch and keep on scratching.’
swoosh0018: Leanda. Wow, Its cool to have you on the blog. I mean you have set stages alight wher eever you have performed. Playing at major events all over. Entertaining thousands of people with your immense talent and style that is second to None.

P.I.M: How did it all begin for you. How did you get to where you are today. Would you care to run us through a brief history lol?
leanda: I’ve always been a complete music junkie. Started clubbing at the tender age of 15 and my love for house music just grew from there. I got interested in mixing when I was living in London and bought my first set of decks whilts living there. I then completed a mixing course at Retro music in Johannesburg and with a lot of presistance and many hours of practise finally prefected the art of mixing. I then just started hanging out at my favourite clubs, got to know the owners and the DJ’s until I got a break to play. I am happy to say after 3 years of hard work landed my fisrt H2O set this past new years.

P.I.M: Would you care to tell our readers of some of the most memmorable experiences that you have encountered thus far, namely the best atmosphere, the best places, famous people you have encountered along the way?
leanda: I would have to say one of the many highlight of my career would have to be playing at H2O it has been a dream of mine for many years, one of the reasons I became a DJ actually. Another great experience was having one of my mixes played on 5fm. As for event and atmosphere Sutra always has a great vibe love playing there.

P.I.M: Is Dj'ing tough and difficult. I mean I stand back in awe the way thousands are entertained by skill. Is their a great level of skill, personnal touch and concentration required. Can you outline some of the pressures or consequences if you guys are not at the top of your game? leanda: Dj'ing is definatly an art and I feel you never stop learning, I still watch other Dj’s and find I learn new skills and tricks all the time. Mixing is not an easy thing to learn and it takes many hours of dedication and practise but is worth it all in the end.

P.I.M: And to top it all of,You are extremely sexy and stunning. The Night life and entertainment industry is huge in this country. With your good looks Im sure you swamped at every corner. How do fans embrace you as one of the most entertaining DJ's in this country? leanda: The fans are the reason we as Dj’s get to follow our passion without them there would be no industry. The fans have been wonderful and it make all the hard work worth while when one person comes to you to thank you for making their night. I love to interact with my fans.

P.I.M: Geez, I could go on and ask you a million questions about dj'ing but Il save it when I get your autograph lol, Anyways you are Swoosh's babe of the week. Have you done some modelling and how do you maintain that sexy Bod? Are you big on the health thing, Being in your industry, must be a tad difficult lol?If you could make any food or desert the caloric value of lettuce,What would that be?A chocolate desert maybe?Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?
leanda: Where do I start. Well I find the number one thing one has to do to maintain a healthy body is excersice I gym often atleast 4 times a week. I love food so trying to eat less is just not going to happen so I try and stick to the healthier option like chicken and loads of vegetables. I haven’t done any modelling as such but if oppurtunity came along I would not turn it down I think it could be a fun hobby to have. What is my favourite past of a mans body, mmm I would have to day his arm nothing sexier than a man with well defined arms.

BRIGITTE WILLERS

Brigitte Wow, Its great to have you on the blog. Survivor South Africa. Straight to the point. For our readers. How was the Survivor Experience?
brigitte: It was actually much harder than it looks, I enjoyed it as I am from a farm tipe lifestyle so I wasnt really out of my comfort zone. I loved waking up on a beach and watch the beautiful sun-rises...

Would you care to tell our readers of some of the most memmorable experiences that you have encountered in the Survivor Campaign,The highs , the lows, THE DANGERS?Im sure being exposed to the elements,There are some serious Dangers out there?Danger! I laugh in the face of danger :) nah there was a medical team close at hand but there were many poisonous creatures on both land and in the sea where we were staying and competing. The low point was definately deadmans Island and the High... well there were to many to single out one.

What does it take to be in Survivor. Do you have to be physically fit and strong in endurance. I assume that the mental part of it is extremely important. How did you fair and when were you eliminated?
I think I lasted to about the third last episode... when they select survivor contestants its all about diversity of character and what they call the x factor... and yes, it helps if you are not connected to a heart and lung machine...

And the FOOD lol? What was the first luxurious thing you did when you hit the four walls of your home. The thing you just longed for all the time you were competing?
Actually when I got home all I wanted was the fish and rice we had on the island... so sushi was all I had... and when I was on the island all I wanted was well.... my cellphone... ha ha
To interview a Survivor contestant as hot as you.Indeed an honour. Im sure rival male contestants found it hard to vote against you.Hell I would have given you my immunity lol. You are also a model. How did you modelling career start.Im sure it must have spiraled post Survivor?
MMMM not sure, I started modeling quite young and just before survivor I was voted FHM model of the year so it all kind of went uphill from there...

How do you maintain that sexy Bod? Are you big on the health thing, If you could make any food or desert the caloric value of lettuce,What would that be?A chocolate desert maybe?Oh and what would you regard as the sexiest part of your body and a guys?Oh and how did you train and restructure your fitness regime knowing that you were going to be on Survivor?
I train hard, I am a qualified trainer, used to compete in High Jump for the University and also shared a fitness training coach with the lions rugby team so I know what I am doing training wise. I love Ice cream any time of the day and really dont care about the caloric value.... its my weakness. I love so many parts its really hard to say I am obsessed with the Human anatomy so to me its all amazing... but to single out the ONE thing I would definately say pashionate eyes.... there is nothing like it.

Gorgeous pics..If you had to do an FHM Shoot tomorow. pick a location.Your dream location
would love to shoot somewhere in a rainforest, I like the bush

I see you a Sportsfan. Any Sportsman you would like to spend a weekend in a cozy log cabin in the Swiss Alps with? Care to tell us why?
Definately cant tell you that without upsetting a few people

What was the most bizzare and funny come on line that a guy has used on You?
Cant really say, guys dont usually use pick up lines on me, they know better....

Tell us about one talent that you have that we never able to guess?
can sing... and I am double jointed... not neccasarily in that order :)

Fast Cars & Bikes? Which ones?Whats the most dangerous or daring thing that you have ever done?
I love both ... drove to nelspruit in a record time in just under 3 hours from Jhb...

Favourite place to shop? I dont do shopping, but if I must Cresta, I know all the shop owners and they know what I like so not much effort involved there
Favourite restaurant, coffee shop? Tasha's Atholl square
Have you ever eaten Indian Food? Yup... who hasnt?
